Each week's self paced, time commitment is watching 3-5 videos [each 5-25 minutes in length], reading articles, and keeping a journal answering weekly journal prompts. 

Module 1: What is Pain?

Lay the groundwork for your journey to mastery with Module 1. Here, you'll delve into the essential principles and techniques that form the bedrock of Marketing. From understanding core concepts to mastering fundamental skills, this module equips you with the knowledge and confidence to embark on your path to success.

Module 2: Sound the Alarm

In Module 2, we dive deeper into the intricacies of nervous system, learn more about why the brain and body respond as they do, and explore strategies and techniques that propel you towards your path to easing pain. With expert guidance and hands-on exercises, you'll gain the tools and insights needed to change and influence your pain. 

Module 3: The Brain and Pain

Module 3 is your roadmap to resilience, equipping you with the tools and strategies to navigate obstacles on your journey towards healing. Here, you'll learn about and understand why there have been no answers in the western, medical model of healthcare. Understanding some basic pain science is the key to identifying why there may be little to no tissue damage...yet pain persists!!

Module 4: Why Yoga?

In Module 4, You'll explore why yoga is an amazing tool for pain management, and has even surpassed opioids as a non pharmacological tool to ease pain, relax the nervous system, and let the brain know it is not needed to sound the alarm. Understand the differences between yoga and yoga therapy, and how this amazing tool can be a life savor AND a lifestyle! 

Module 5: Pain Care Aware [Pain is Changeable] 

Module 5 is where you'll learn how to identify common challenges and overcome them with confidence. From managing setbacks to adapting to changing circumstances, this module empowers you to build resilience, self compassion, and persevere in the face of adversity.Discern for yourself what your body needs. Module 6: The Power of Visualization

In Module 6, it's time to explore visualization and why this process is so invaluable. Open up to experiences that invoke the 5 senses, and even the research behind this important approach. Looking at this option of imagery creates space for self efficacy and self care! 

Module 7: The Value of Community 

Module 7 highlights community! Often, when it comes to chronic pain, isolation and emotional overwhelm is at the forefront. Join this caring, supportive, kind, and open hearted community to be embraced, excepted, honored, trusted, and valued as you are! We KNOW that your pain is REAL...no need to convince us.  

Module 8: Where Do We Go from Here?

Finally, in Module 8, we bring it all together! Many of my clients who have learned a bit about how yoga and chronic pain come together, learn about pain science, and begin to KNOW this is right for them...they often don't know where to turn next! This module lays out a clear roadmap of where to pursue what feels right for YOU!! We're here to support you as you MOVE beyond.

My Mission

Hello! My name is Julie Shannon Williams. I am 
a certified yoga therapist, educator, and online creator.

I help people of all ages struggling with chronic pain using evidence based and affordable practices to get back to life connecting with loved ones, and moving with more ease. Western medicine alone does not have the answers to help those living with chronic pain. The opioid crisis is a growing example of this. This has been an emotionally painful process and problem…until now.

I have created a robust, evidence based program that gets you back to living the life you deserve with the ones you love!

I’ve spent the last decade implementing what I’ve learned, and sharing it with numerous clients that have each experienced success in changing their pain, and getting back into life and relationships they love. Non pharmacological alternatives, such as yoga therapy, are needed at this time to shine light on and educate about the autonomic nervous system, how it works, and how the brain and body respond to pain.
